We offer comprehensive internal training programs which have been designed to cater to the varying knowledge levels of our staff, providing them with significant opportunities for growth. This type of training incorporates both technical training and soft skill development which is an effective approach for creating a knowledgeable and confident team. We value further education and support our people as they undertake the Chartered Accountants Program and other accredited courses.
At CBSW we take care of our staff and support them to develop their skills in order to progress in their careers. An experienced senior staff member is assigned to team members who require a mentor, giving them guidance while monitoring their professional development. We carefully select which client work to assign to each team member, to build a partnership which is complementary to our client while aligning with staff development. Our mentors meet regularly with their allocated team member to ensure any developmental goals are being met.
In any workplace there should be a focus on teamwork, and at CBSW we are committed to providing our staff with opportunities for team building and team networking. We regularly hold social functions and encourage all staff members to attend these work events which are held outside of traditional office hours. Our events are both casual with informal dinner and drinks, as well as more organised social activities. We participate in CAANZ sporting events and we support any staff member who shows interest in being involved in these activities.
