Matthew Walsh
Director
Matthew began his career as an accountant in the field of Business Advisory Services in 2000. He started working in a mid-tier firm working on a range of clients and matters including listed entities, large family groups, mergers and acquisitions. Matthew is now a director at CBSW and advises on a range of issues, including specialist services for Self-Managed Superannuation clients. He has previously enjoyed being part of the Tax Institutes WA State Convention Committee, and a volunteer Treasurer for the Rostrata Junior Football Club. He is now a member of the Domestic Competition Committee at the Willetton Basketball Association

Qualifications and Experience
Matthew’s long term experience in business advisory services has given him a unique skill set which is beneficial to his clients. He has a Bachelor of Commerce Accounting and Finance, and is a member of the CAANZ. Matthew is a Chartered Tax Adviser, and excels in everything he does. His key areas of expertise include primary production, manufacturing and professional services.

When he isn’t busy working, Matthew enjoys spending time with family and friends. Just like Matthew, his wife and son are interested in sport, and they are all proud members of the West Coast Eagles and Perth Wildcats. In addition to watching his favourite teams, Matthew likes to lead an active lifestyle. He plays basketball, cycles and enjoys all things sport.
